Weatherly – Flutter Weather App
Weatherly is a polished weather mobile application built with Flutter that delivers real-time weather data with elegant visualizations. Users can add multiple locations, view detailed weather metrics (temperature, humidity, wind speed, and forecasts), and seamlessly switch between saved locations — all wrapped in a clean, modern UI.
The Challenge
Delivering accurate, real-time weather data in a mobile app requires reliable API integration, graceful error handling for network issues, and a UI that presents complex weather data intuitively. Multi-location support adds state management complexity that needs to be handled cleanly.
The Solution
I built Weatherly with Flutter and Dart, integrating the OpenWeatherMap API for real-time weather data and forecasts. The app supports searching for and adding multiple locations, with a smooth UI for switching between them. Weather data is displayed with custom visual components — temperature graphs, humidity indicators, wind speed gauges, and multi-day forecast cards. HTTP package handles API calls with proper error handling and loading states.
